Portfolio Review

The online portfolio review is a comprehensive, three-stage process designed to help students refine and enhance their art portfolios, whether they're applying for art scholarships, GCSEs, A-levels, College, or University.

Stage 1: Submission

To begin, students will send a video or pictures of their current artwork and sketchbooks. This initial submission allows me to get an overview of their work and understand their creative journey so far.

Stage 2: Zoom Review Session

Next, I’ll schedule a 1-hour Zoom call to go through the portfolio together. During this session, I’ll provide detailed suggestions and feedback, offering oversight on what’s working well and what could be improved. It’s also a chance for us to meet the student, understand their goals, and discuss how to enhance their portfolio further.

Stage 3: Written Analysis

Finally, I’ll provide a written document with a thorough analysis of the review. This document will include specific recommendations on how to improve and develop the portfolio, tailored to the student's individual needs and application requirements.

Before we start, I’ll need details about the student’s educational level, what they are applying for, and any specific information regarding application requirements. This will help me give the most relevant and targeted advice.

Before any of this happens, let's have a chat. Send me an email, and we can go from there to discuss how I can help.

TESTIMONIALS

"She has really enjoyed the class and looks forward to it every week. It’s boosted her confidence and creativity, and she’s always excited to share what she’s made. It’s been a really positive experience for her" - Esmat (daughter joined Mini Creatives Club)

----------

"Joella’s kind, calm, and structured approach creates such a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow. She has a wonderful ability to support each child’s unique personality and pace. It’s been a beautiful experience, and we’re so grateful for it. My daughter is 9 and can be quite shy, especially in new groups, so I was a little nervous about how she'd find the experience. But week by week, her confidence grew. She truly looked forward to each session and was so proud of what she was learning and creating." - Lisa (daughter joined the Mini Creatives Club)

--------

"Charlie really enjoys the lessons, his confidence has increased a lot since starting the weekly group and the art work has been fantastic too! Thanks Joella!" - Amy (son joined the Young Creatives Course)
